Have used hospital's multiple services. Had two pets cremated. Most recently my senior baby, Rocky. Received a very nice sympathy card that had messages from the Doctor and other staff. Another show of the outstanding care and love for our pets.

It may be an old building, an older neighborhood, but the staff is very helpful and kind. Dr. Johnson has been our family vet for over 30 years. She has a heart that beats for all animals. She fights for these animals harder than any other vet we've been to. She truly cares...

Many people will probably dismiss this modest vet, judging it from its aged facade and neighborhood. Even walking in, the aging paint and furniture telegraph something old and out dated. What you'd miss in this judgment is a staff dedicated to the happiness and welfare of animals. Every person there went above and beyond what would be acceptable animal care to help make my nervous Australian Shepherd comfortable. The vet, Dr Johnson, took time to go over my dogs charts and labs and even spent time after the exam, petting and comforting Mayble. She is a woman who deeply loves animals and it shows in her care and dedication. They are technically current in lab and x-ray equipment, yet still prefer faxing animal records, rather than email. They probably won't even see this review, because their focus isn't pretty buildings and fancy furniture. Their only goal is providing excellent quality care at a remarkably reasonable price, and in my opinion, that's what matters most.

I took my 18 month old cat to have him fixed about 2 months ago. That was the last time I saw him alive. We were told he possibly had a heart attack and he wasn't taking sedation. Then they tried selling me $180 cremation. I would think if there were problems sedating then it's a no go, you shouldn't try to operate. I hope next time they just stop and call the owner explaining why they couldn't operate instead of calling to tell them the animal is no longer alive. R.I.P. Sherbet. I miss you buddy!
