Tequilas D´ Oro Mexican Restaurant | Jacksonville

The menu here is GIANORMUS! There is everything to choose from. They have a MASSIVE tequila selection and huge drink portions! If you have not given here a try, please do. It is inviting and has things other mexican restaurants do not. There is a salsa bar, you get served chips with bean dip, they offer select 32oz bottled beers! As I sit at the bar I am typing this review. This place has a good future as long as we get word out to Jax!

What an excellent restaurant, everything tasted amazing, service was quick and our server (Paul) was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I'd argue to say this is the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. Everything from the salsas to the margaritas were made with apparent care and love. As a new restaurant in this area, it's certainly a rising star. I recommend eating here while you can before you have to get a reservation just to sit. PS, get the tableside guac service, you won't regret it.

Big beautiful entrance. They have an area to sit out front and eat. It feels very inviting. The designs in the restaurant gives off a different vibe from most Mexican restaurants. The large light sphere were a wonderful touch. We were sat down in like 12 seconds. Their menu is loaded with options. There was a nice woman who came to our table with a fully loaded cart and made us fresh guacamole with any fixings we asked for. This was a cool experience. The guac was phenomenal. It was great like yours expect in the streets of Mexico City. I settled on the American Tacos. They brought out a creamy cheese dip and a bean dip. I enjoyed loading the chips with guacamole, cheese and beans. O-yeah! The chicken tacos were fresh and came with a side of rice and beans. The three tacos filled me all the way up. I had a tall glass of Horchata to to with it. I was so good.. The steak tacos looked good as well. There were no complaints. They even had a dedicated bar for sauces. What i loved was the cup size- it wasn't tiny- it was a good portion... and the hot sauce was flavorful. I'm coming back here for a burrito next week, then Enchiladas the week after that. I love this place.

Excellent! The meal was SO good. Fajitas, burritos, and tacos were perfect. All meals came out at the same time for our party of 7. Queso was thick and delicious. Guacamole was fresh and made at the table. Chocolate flan was the perfect dessert for the meal. Portions were HUGE. The tequilla shots were smooth and came with an awesome fire presentation! Mar was a phenomenal waitress, great service!

HIGHLY recommend this place! We had a fantastic dinner. I got the medium size Skinny Marg, and boy was it good! My husband got two mojitos, with real fruit, and we shared a Queso Fundido and Birria Tacos 🔥 both were great! And Paul, our waiter, was GREAT!! 👍🏼
