PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. My dog went to this daycare facility for over three years. Unfortunately due to management changes, the care and attention at this location went down hill FAST. My dog was attacked and permanently disfigured due to the lack of care and control at this facility. I have contacted the facility multiple times as well as their upper management to share my concerns and frustration with this site. However, I have heard nothing back and their cowardness shows greatly. I am working to get this facility shutdown and reported as to hopefully stop any other dog from being hurt again. If you want your dog to be hurt at this facility or even killed, then I cannot recommend this place.

Onyx loves Dogtopia!! He knows when we're on our way to dogtopia. He gets so excited and he practically jumps out of his leash, running to go into the dog daycare. He's active non-stop. He loves his doggy friends he has made and he is playing non-stop while he's at daycare. I love that they have options to serve your dog food. Onyx loves the salmon and rice bowl & the frozen pumpkin pops 🐟🎃🍚 🥣

I recently traveled to DC and needed daycare for my older, nervous pup. Dogtopia at Navy Yard was fantastic! They have multiple locations in the area, a structured meet-and-greet process, and very transparent pricing. Once my dog was approved for daycare, I could even access live video feeds, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while traveling. The team at this location was extremely friendly, listened carefully to my concerns, and provided helpful updates when I picked up my dog. Overall, a wonderful experience—I would highly recommend this location whether you live nearby or are just visiting.

We’ve used Dogtopia a few times, and in person, the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Once you’re already set up with them, check-ins and pick-ups are quick and easy. Unfortunately, the lobby has a very strong odor that makes the overall experience less pleasant. Reaching someone by phone or email, however, has been frustrating. We’ve tried calling several times without success and sent multiple emails about picking up our dogs without receiving a single response. Since we could see several employees on their webcams, it’s clear they were there; the least they could have done was acknowledge one of our messages. Because of that lack of communication, we don’t plan on using this location again. Another concern: when we looked through a small spot on one of the blacked covered windows, both of our dogs were in cages with nothing to lay on. If those were the same cages they slept in overnight during their two-week boarding stay, that would be very disappointing. We’re hoping that wasn’t the case and that they sleep elsewhere after playtime. Overall, between the communication issues and the unpleasant smell in the lobby, our confidence in this Dogtopia has dropped. We might give them one more chance, but if we confirm that boarded dogs stay overnight in cages without bedding, we will definitely find other boarding alternatives.

Fantastic new groomer for both my Doodles. She reached out and spent as much time as needed discussing my doodles and any issues with their fur, etc. highly recommend and great location! Both dogs were happy after their spa day.
