Pasco Palms Preserve

Well, we fed the mosquitoes! It’s a walk beside a dark tea colored stagnant water area perfect for mosquitoes and other wildlife. Not so great for people. The short path leads to a platform with stairs and a nice swing but the mangroves have grown up so you cannot see any of the nearby water or shore. We did see a beautiful heron sitting on the covered picnic table but no way we could linger because even with bug spray we were getting eaten alive. August 2025. But it was exercise at least.

Just like others said, it’s about a .5 mile trail that has benches throughout, it ends with an observatory deck, not a tower or anything, and you can see the water from it. There’s also a picnic table with shade at the end and a swinging bench. Although short and sweet, my twins still loved it, they love running trails and exploring anything new. It’s a beautiful view and a nice little trail but nothing grand. If your kids love nature they will enjoy this nonetheless, my kids always find a way to have fun with whatever is at their disposal!

Good little nature walk, but the observation deck has a blocked view. Places to sit down are a plus. There is a bench swing and a picnic table. So bring sandwiches chips and a soda.

Very short. Like comedically short. The trail is maybe 0.4 miles. You can tell some homeless people had been sleeping on the one bench they had near the end. The lookout tower isnt looking over at anything. Not much good to say other than the trail is well kept.

Short and sweet with a nice swing at the end. The foliage obscured the view on the deck. But I must say, stop and smell the leaves of the Brazilian pink pepper tree, it intrigues me.
