(from Google)Nice county park on Rocky Creek and Gulf. Hiking trails but nor marked as well as could be hoped, and bridge out over semi dry creek requiring balancing on logs. Really needs a map on location.
Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon in April 2026 and it was a nice little time. There was a decent sized parking lot with public restrooms. The walking trails were somewhat shady and the breeze coming off the water was nice. The trails were very sandy tho like a beach so kinda tough to walk. There was a cool little structure built by the water - 3 stories to get some nice views. A lot of the trees were burned tho. A bit odd. Nice little spot tho
Very nice, mid length - decent length nature walk. Took the track to the observersatin tower, which was beautiful. A lot of people had their dogs, so be aware of that for anyone with an unbehaved pup. The walk is half sand, part wood bridge, and the rest flat ground. Overall a good hike/walk. Definately bring water if you are not used to 2+ miles. Also had other amenities, like a park, dog park, and much more. Will definitely be back to spend some time here.
Beautiful park next to the water. Short 1.5 to 2 mile loops within the park. It connects to other trails that can lead you to longer trails. Has a boardwalk thats a few stories high, perfect bird view of the area. No swimming or walking off trails as this area is a restoration/ sensitive environment. There was a small kayak / paddle board launch. Wooden boardwalks throughout. Easy walk, could he difficult for someone with unsteady balance.
Beautiful park. Good parking availability and a really nice place to spend some time. There are bathrooms and nature trails there. Rocky creek trail loop was nice but I didn’t get any photos of it. I would come here again because it was a nice place settled off the beaten path and not terribly busy for a Wednesday.
