Happy Paws is the best! Every time I go there, Dr. Wellman and team goes above and beyond for my pit-bull, Poppy. They even cut Poppy's nails at no charge during my last visit, which was very nice of them. Saved me time and money.

I have been taking my cats to Happy Paws for two years. I always feel they truly care about my cats and want the best for them. The office is clean and they always take the time to explain health needs to me and follow up. I am glad to have found this vet.

My French Bulldog recently needed a BOAS surgery revision after his initial procedure at a large local veterinary hospital four years ago. Over the past year, his symptoms steadily worsened, so I consulted several veterinarians before ultimately choosing Dr. Wellman. From the very first conversation, I was impressed by her thoughtful approach. She explained how she carefully determines the amount of tissue to remove during surgery and continually evaluates her work throughout the procedure. She even shared videos of other Bulldogs who had undergone the same surgery, which gave me both confidence and a clear understanding of the process. After my dog’s surgery, she walked me through videos of his procedure step by step, which I found incredibly reassuring. What stood out most was the level of care and communication. Dr. Wellman and I stayed in touch via phone, email, and text multiple times a day after surgery, and her team examined my dog in person for three days straight to closely monitor his recovery, administer medications & fluids to keep him comfortable. As an admittedly anxious pet parent, those daily updates and face-to-face check-ins truly set my mind at ease. Although it’s only been a week since his extensive surgery, his breathing has already improved dramatically. When he experienced a rather scary gastritis episode yesterday(a fairly common occurrence for Bulldogs after such an involved procedure), Dr. Wellman and her team acted immediately. They monitored him all day, kept him comfortable, sent him home with the right medications, and even let him relax in their office instead of being confined to a crate. When I picked him up, he was happy, energetic, and clearly spoiled by the wonderful team at Happy Paws. We’re still on the healing journey—and I’m sure I’ll continue reaching out with questions—but I have no doubt my boy is in the very best hands. I’m beyond grateful to Dr. Wellman and everyone at Happy Paws for their skill, compassion, and exceptional care.

Incredibly thorough, patient and informative. We learned so much about our new pup in our first visit. You can tell they love their animals and clients. There was also a whole table of treats to make your animal feel comfortable in the treatment room and coffee/tea for the humans! We are so happy we found Happy Paws
