Johnson Beach National Seashore

The facilities are nice but the beach has lots of seaweed and the water is yellow today. There'sno way toget this info until after you pay the entrance fee. I'd skip this beach and stay in the Pensacola beach area with clearer water and no entry fees. It's a smaller beach and quite a lot of people.

Great beach with showers, bathrooms, changing rooms and several large pavilions with tables and chairs (great area to eat, especially during windy days). Plenty of parking (lots of handicap spots). Also there are two beautiful walking trails, one along the beach and one among the trees. The entrance costs $25 for non residents and it's good for a week. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

My go-to for beach time! We have the annual park pass and we go often. I like that it's less crowded than Pensacola beach, and only 15 minutes from my house. Also, it's nice that there's a bathroom and changing area at the first parking lot.

This is our go-to when in Pensacola. Due to limited parking it is best to get there early. I like that it limits the crowds and definitely gives a more private vibe. The bay side is a great option for families that feel uncertain about their kids going in the waves on the ocean side - can be a lot of rip currents depending on the weather. We have fished, picnicked, played volleyball, shelled, snorkeled, surfed, and used all of the amenities. We prefer purchasing the annual pass for $45. This gives full access for a year as opposed to the $25 for only 7 days.

Most serene place for relaxing and daydreaming. I really enjoyed this area of Perdido Key. It had plenty of parking everywhere where was clean. It has plenty of beach, the pavion area restroom were all top notch. I also felt like this was a safe place.
