Escambia County Public Beach Access #1

don't bother going here. there's only a tiny strip of "public beach" because they have each side roped off for the condos. it's really ridiculous, i don't even see how they can consider this a public access area anymore. drive down to one of the others access areas, #3 was my favorite.

No signs showing private beach like other places. Really nice area. Sand was clean with no trash. Really enjoyed my morning walk and letting the kids unwind. Definitely one of my favorite places.

Best place for parking. Great location for safety. No showers for washing off feet, etc. Trash can located at the front. Did see a portable bathroom. Lots of hotels close by.

Nice small(tiny) Publix beach area between 2 private condos. Attendant patrols and you are not allowed on their beach. The water was clear and sand was white! As long as you stake your area you'll be great! Kiddos loved it and there is free parking with in a short distance walk.

parking is limited, but if you get there early morning or late afternoon - you should be able to find something. Even on the weekend, we were able to snag a spot. There is a portapotty available, if needed. We used this beach 3 days in a row, and we weren't disappointed. There is "private" beach area on both sides - that was only enforced on one day while we were there. Even on the crowded day, we were able to find a spot and enjoy the beach. A few trash cans available on the way out by the parking lot. For a public access area, this place was clean and well kept. hard to complain when you can access part of the beach for free without paying the price to have a place right on the beach.
