(from Google)I was really looking forward to a relaxing day here, but it turned out to be quite a frustrating experience. The area was not well maintained, with trash left around the seating spots and some of the playground equipment looking like it needed serious repairs. It just didn't feel like a safe or welcoming place to spend any time, and I ended up leaving much sooner than I had planned. I really hope they put more effort into cleaning this up because it has potential, but right now I would definitely suggest skipping it.
Nice park area. Places for fishing. Walking area is new and takes you to Skunk creek area. Not many trees or shade. Nice restroom. This is my first time here for an event walk.
Great place to take your pups to burn off some energy and have a blast at the same time!! :) They could really use some trees around the perimeter to block the wind and a few more lights as the one up by the parking area just isn't enough seeing as how it gets dark so early this time of year. The people who go there are very nice and if you're a dog lover, you can get your puppy therapy here, no problem!
The view is incredible for sunrise and sunset! There are so many of trails out here for walking, the dog park is extremely busy and the trails would be a good run spot for rhe pups! If you are looking to get to this park from the bile trail it's an option from crossing the castle bridge and going through Dunham and Legacy park to get to the end of the trail (for now).
Right down from the Family Dog Park is the Family Park! Well kept and clean. The trail is easily accessible and bike friendly. The water was beautiful that day!! Scooby Approved!!! Enjoy the pics!!
