Gandy Bridge Beach Area

Had such a fun time at Gandy Beach! The water was super calm with no crazy waves, making it perfect for families. There were jet skis, an ice cream van driving around, and even rides for $20 for 2 people where you can choose slow, medium, or fast. We even caught some baby fish in the water. Definitely recommend for a chill beach day! 🌊☀️🐟🍦🏖️

Good place to sit back and relax

TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU!!!!!! THROW IT ON YOUR OWN FLOORBOARD, NOT MOTHER NATURES! IF YOU HAVE THE FREEDOM TO STOP BY & ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL AREA PLEASE DO NOT DESTROY IT! BE AN EXAMPLE, AN ADULT, TEACH YOUR KIDS RIGHT! IF YOU BRING CHILDREN PLEASEEE BE CAUTIOUS OF BROKEN GLASS ALONG THE SHORE. MAJOR THANKS TO THOSE WHO DO THEIR PART IN CLEANING UP WHEN VISITING! ALSO FYI THE BIRD SANCTUARY IS A PROTECTED AREA, (just beyond the wall where my Sweetie is!) IS NOT FOR DOGS!

Dog welcome and have fun. Lots of fishing and plenty of family space for riding kayaks, picking or just fun, sun and water. Lots of spaces and a place for every person to get a spot of their own to discover Tampa and what it has to offer. Best of both worlds! You can swim and get food within minutes of each other all while getting a tan in the sunshine state of south Florida. Make sure we keep our area clean and enjoy what was made for us!

What a great place to watch the sun rise or sunset—either side of the Gandy offers an amazing place to chill.. fish.. run the dog.. kayak.. launch your boat.. and enjoy some cover from the mangroves. Primitive of course and the spots fill up fast—-but once you’re parked you can stay for the entire day for free!!
