(from Google)February 21, 2026 Fletcher and I walked from the Gandy Beach 🏖️ Parking Lot 🅿️ to the Mangroves. Gate is closed to the beach 🏝️ but you can still park and walk and lounge around!
Great place to pull off the road and enjoy the view. The kids love catching fiddler crabs, and playing in the water. We also enjoy fishing from this area.
I really like coming to the beach. I came here to get my niece that I hadn't seen in 43 years 😞 she had I mean it was really cool to see her again but I didn't last time I seen her she was 4 years old 😲 and it just didn't work out. I couldn't handle being out on the boat and she was bitching and complaining cuz she couldn't handle being in the air conditioning and she never cat hair word on what she stated we were going to do and get done. Salon driving over 2000 me back up north and she is not coming with me. I'm very upset that she thinks she's better than me Anyway the beach is an awesome place to come they have barbecues and you can do whatever the heck you want here. I never got to eat in the restaurant. My fur baby cut his pad on mangroves 😞🐾 so if you want to come to a beach where the water is salty it's humid and hot and the water is icky color, this is the place to come to hang out and have a good time 🥳🤤💖
A very peaceful and tranquil place to chill out when you can get your own mangrove, which isn't too difficult during off-peak hours. Surprisingly quiet given it's right off Gandy.
Cool area. Bring your dogs, grills and drinks. Manatees and dolphins are plentiful. Fishing is also good. Got into a school of jacks and had a blast. Pull your vehicle right up to the water and unload your kayaks or just your chairs. One of my favorites
