(from Google)I went out for a morning walk here after hearing mixed rumors about trail closures. To clarify for anyone wondering: the trail is NOT fully open as a loop right now. There is still construction, and the trail is blocked off where the bridge goes over the water. However, you can still get a fantastic, long workout in by doing it "out and back" on both sides like I did! It took about an hour total. When you walk up and see the big fountain in the middle, here is how it breaks down: Going Left: This path takes you past the restaurants, apartments, and businesses along the water. You can walk most of this half of the lake before you hit the bridge closure, where you'll need to turn around. Going Right: This is the quieter nature trail side. It takes you by the monarch butterfly areas and is full of birds and wildlife. It’s absolutely beautiful. The trail wasn't too packed, and the whole area is super clean. Handy Tip: There are very nice, clean public restrooms located right as you walk up, to the left behind the seafood restaurant. Even with the construction, it's a beautiful place for a walk!
Nice area to walk around solo or with others. Enjoy the nice ceneries, restaurants, games and nature
Trail is well taken care of, definitely bring comfy shoes because it’s a long walk if you do the whole loop. The shops near the area are a plus.
Loved this beautiful 6 mile scenic trail!
This place is gorgeous...great walking trails around water. After walking can sit for a meal and beverage plenty of eateries to choose from
