(from Google)This is one of my favorite beaches to travel to. I feel like I am in a surf movie back in Cali with people playing volleyball with dope sunsets. Across from the beach is Spires Market it is amazing food. The Tuna Boas must try.
Amazing beach with lots of sand, nearby trees for shade, and not too crowded if you get there by 10am (even during the Christmas holiday weekend)! Wear flip flops or water shoes tho; my husband and I both found glass and tin can lids even though it looked clean otherwise. There's a decent drop off from where you can touch the bottom to where you cannot, and the waves break accordingly (lots of big ones when we were there). There's a volleyball net as well as jet ski rental. We went there twice. Would recommend.
4 stars bc the parking lot is small and there are lots of critters in the sand by the trees. Having said that, super convenient to food spots and there is a spot that sells beach supplies like umbrellas, towels, sunscreen and souvenirs within a 4 min walk from the beach. We arrived at 11:30 am on a Saturday and squeezed into a spot.. but parking is very limited so I suggest coming by 10am on the weekend and you should be fine. Food at local restaurants is a bit pricey but there are also vendors who pass by throughout the day selling food and drinks so I suggest checking out what they sell when they come by. Very hot on a July day be prepared to sweat setting up your gear, umbrella is a must bc tree shade fills up fast.
Nice beach. They have parking. It wasn't crowded on a Friday in January. They rented chairs and umbrellas. The waves were strong. We came back to watch the sunset.
I loved Playa Doña Lala Beach. Right in the center of town...was not crowded at all even during a Saturday. Plenty of space for everyone. Do recommend to bring your own shade. The water was beautiful. We also rented a Jet Ski for a hour and it was a blast. Overall one of our fav beach during the visit. Highly recommend if you're in Rincon.
