Indian Hills Recreation Area

The loop trail North of the Indian Hills Recreation Area is a scenic place to visit. The trail has spots for visitors to stop and excercise and picturesque views of the pond, with access points between the trail and the nearby neighborhood for residents. The only downside to the park is the noise from the animal shelter, but the park is good otherwise. Be wary of alligators in the area and keep your dogs close and under supervision.

Great place, from Frisbee Golf to live Gators this place has about everything you want to enjoy some time outside. There is two different spots here to enjoy the great outdoors. The First place is right off the main road (Savanna Rd) and the Second Place is kind of hidden back behind the Public Works Area on Public Works Dr, just make a left at the Animal Adoption Centre, follow the Road and you’ll see the parking lot for the Big Lake, Bike Trails and Frisbee Golf. If there is a negativity, it’s I don’t think there are public bathrooms here but I’m sure there’s a place to go nearby if needed. Enjoy!

Nice park for evening walks, or just to get out and get some fresh air. For the most park is pretty taken care of area but I guess some people just throw garbage everywhere (so sad) either way is a nice spot.

Nice park for walks with nature. Handicap accessible trails for wheelchair users, and dog friendly (remember Ft Pierce has leash laws, so be considerate). Watch your little ones and your pets, as there are alligators present.

Like the layout...twists and turns. Several bridges and look outs. The floating dock is a plus. Always a critter or two to find. Never alot of birds but great to view and walk. Saw an iguana and otter today.
