Shaggy's Pensacola Beach

I'm familiar with Shaggy's from other locations. The wait was LONG, but that's expected here. Was able to wait at the bar for seats to open up, and they had a few drink specials. Service wasn't the fastest, but when there's a 1.5-hour wait, it's not a surprise. The food was incredibly good, fresh, and came rather quickly once seated (which, admittedly, was after the official closing time). There wasn't any pressure to finish quickly and leave, either. I appreciated that. Definitely a place to check out.

We had such a wonderful time! Sat on the deck for dinner and watched the blue angels fly by, the food and drinks were both delicious and we didn’t wait long for them at all. Our server Doug was also just as awesome and kept great conversation with all of his tables!

The food was great and delivered quickly, our server Jaylon was outstanding she never complained and anything we asked for if she was unable to get it there were always other servers around to help without hesitation. This was our first time here with our parents and they had no complaints they enjoyed the view as it’s by the water. If you’re wanting to visit this place is 10/10 for us.

Food was great! We had the mahi tacos & the shrimp po boy. Both were huge portions! We also had the chicken sausage gumbo, which was delicious. There was a bus load of basketball players that arrived before us so we were a little nervous about how quickly we would be served, but it was no problem at all. They had our food out in no time. We sat outside on the patio and watched the ocean! We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend this place.

We were in Pensacola for lunch and, based on good reviews, decided to try Shaggy's. It took about 15-20 minutes to get a table and be seated. Our server Zoey greeted us with the menus. We ordered Coke and Water without ice for drinks. After reviewing the menu, we ordered the Coconut Shrimp Platter, a side of Mac and cheese with lobster, Sauteed Crab Claws, Chicken Wings, and a Chicken Sandwich. Our lunch order came out quickly, in about 10-15 minutes. We both really enjoyed the Sauteed Crab Claws. It was our first time trying crab claws, and we enjoyed them. Our toddler, too, thoroughly enjoyed his Mac and Cheese with lobster, making it a great lunch option for him. We also enjoyed the other lunch options, and it was a great spot for lunch with beach views.
