(from Google)Loved the playground for my son & tables for lunch but the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. You’d think a big well used park would be taken care of better.
Is a nice little park but NEVER let you active LO get close to the walking trail behind the dog park, There is no fence near the trench and my now 4 year old and I both almost fell off in it as he was running near I caught him and slip, Thank God! My child and I was both shield by the Lords hands.
Nice park! Swings, Merry go round, wooden walkway, rope swings, sand pit, drum posts, covered picnic tables, bathrooms (not sure if they are open now)
Beautiful and safe place for kids to play. Parking is rough!
We visited this playground when we were in Memphis in March. We'd intended to go to the zoo, but it was mobbed, so we decided to wear the kids out at this playground before we got back in the car. We were there for at least 2 hours! There are activities for a variety of ages, plus plenty of space for tired parents to sit down. There's a fence that extends all the way around the playground, so younger kids can't run away. There's a dog park right next to the playground, too, so there aren't a lot of people with dogs inside the playground itself. We were there on a Saturday, and there were two ice cream trucks in the parking lot! We were disappointed to miss the zoo that day, but this really cool playground sort of made up for it.
