(from Google)*** UPDATE *** I stand by my review & rating, despite the owner’s response attempting to gaslight my experience. I’m not a novice coffee drinker. If there were known delays, I was standing at the bar the entire time and would have welcomed a curtesy heads-up about needing to wait for the drip coffee to finish brewing. I know the difference between a “splash” and full shot (and I’m not unaware of the double pull and mistakenly expecting more). Good luck. *** Nice atmosphere, and I would have really liked to come back. But, I ordered a simple drip with shot of espresso (red eye). The barista was more interested in conversation with kids hanging around, and was not paying attention to what she was doing. Filled multiple orders for more complex orders (lattes, etc.), while my drip coffee sat on the counter getting cold. Then, finally poured a tiny splash of espresso on top, and let it sit for another 5 minutes before calling my name. Claims they “pull double espresso,” so just looked like less than a full shot. Stick with your story. Good luck.
I love coming to The Wandering Cup! The atmosphere is wonderful- so cozy and aesthetic with lots of comfy seating options indoors and out. The baristas are very helpful and kind. I love all the different seasonal flavors and drinks they have to offer. The Wandering Cup is my go to coffee place!
This place was so cute, and had the sweetest barista! The building itself gave a super cozy feeling, but best of all has options for everyone, i am dairy free and gluten free, and it is not often that i find somewhere that can mange both my allergies. I was able to get a delicious coffee and a GF muffin!!
We really enjoyed our experience at wandering cup. I took my daughter for The stranger things trivia night and we really enjoyed ourselves. The themed drinks were delicious and cheaper than Starbucks. Looking forward to similar activities to attend.
From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The unique flavor combinations and the friendliness of the staff to help me decide on the right drink for me, made for a wonderful experience. When I’m passing through Charlotte/Belmont again, this will be a must stop. PS - I loved the Running up that Hill!
