(from Google)This place is a ripoff. The staff is incompetent and the prices are extremely high. The vet seemed inexperienced and very irresponsible. I spent thousands of dollars on unnecessary tests without receiving proper treatment. I ended up taking my dog to another vet to finally get proper care. A huge waste of time and money.
I really question how Dr. Ahn and Dr. Choi are allowed to practice without accountability. I brought my pet in because something felt wrong, but I was told he was “fine.” Dr. Ahn’s only advice was to go to the ER if anything happened? I went in to prevent an emergency, not wait for one. I was charged over $1,000 for unrelated ear and dental treatments, which delayed proper care. My pet later passed away from a condition that was missed by Dr.Ahn. When I questioned them, Dr. Ahn was unavailable and Dr. Choi was extremely rude, only defending her. This was heartbreaking and unacceptable. After reading other reviews, I see I’m not alone. Please avoid this clinic at any cost.
I had a really positive experience here after taking my dog in for a next-day visit, and I’m very grateful for the care we received. From the moment we arrived, the staff was calm, attentive, and genuinely engaged. They took the time to listen carefully as I explained my dog’s symptoms and concerns, and I never felt rushed or cut off. It was immediately clear that they were focused on understanding what was going on rather than moving us through quickly. Doctor Ahn was thorough and thoughtful during the exam and explained her observations in a way that was easy to understand. Instead of immediately pushing expensive tests, she walked me through what she were seeing, what the possible causes could be, and what options made sense at this stage. When diagnostics were discussed, the reasoning behind them was clearly explained, which made me feel informed and confident rather than pressured. What stood out most was the level of communication and care. The doctor discussed supportive steps we could take right away, what signs to monitor at home, and how to prioritize next steps if my dog’s condition changed. I left the appointment feeling reassured, informed, and like my dog had truly been cared for, not just examined. The entire team treated my dog with patience and kindness, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about his comfort and well-being. After a stressful experience elsewhere, this clinic was a huge contrast in the best way possible. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a veterinarian who is attentive, communicative, and truly invested in their patients. This is the kind of care every pet owner hopes for.
I am beyond disappointed with the care my cat received at this veterinary clinic. During our visit, the staff openly admitted they were having trouble hearing my cat’s heart while performing his exam, which was already alarming. Instead of properly investigating further, they seemed unsure of what they were doing and moved on without giving me any real answers. They then told me they thought my cat had an ear infection and recommended testing. I trusted their judgment and paid for the test — only for it to come back negative. So I was charged for something my cat never even had. What makes this even more upsetting is that when I took my cat to another veterinarian, they immediately detected a small heart murmur that this clinic completely missed. Because of their failure to properly diagnose him, my cat went months without the medication and treatment he needed. That is time he will never get back — and it could have had serious consequences for his health. Thankfully, I found another vet who actually took the time to listen, examine him properly, and give him the care he deserves. But I will never return to this clinic, and I would strongly warn other pet owners to think twice before trusting them with their animals. Our pets are family. They deserve competent, careful, and knowledgeable medical care — and sadly, that was not what we received here.
Terrible experience. My cat has an early stage heart condition with cardiogenic pulmonary edema. She was only showing a mildly increased breathing rate of about 40 per minute without any other symptoms. Seeing her doing ok, instead of focusing on the real issue, the clinic tried to overcharge me for unrelated tests and meds. Her X-ray clearly showed an enlarged heart and signs of fluid in the lungs, yet the vet refused to provide even basic diuretic treatment. She insisted on waiting for the radiologist review and suggested it might be pneumonia. She also promised to call me with the radiologists report, but never did because she was off the next day and simply did not follow up. When I called the clinic, the receptionist said the vet would not be back until next week. When I asked for the next step and requested a diuretic prescription, the on duty vet refused and told us to go to the emergency room. If it were truly that urgent, they should not have sent us home without any treatment. They even claimed only a cardiologist can prescribe Lasix, which is completely untrue. I contacted a cardiologist’s office and a cardiology nurse later confirmed this. She was shocked they refused to prescribe diuretics. She even called this clinic herself to explain that any general vet can prescribe Lasix, yet they still refused. We ended up having to bring our cat to a different clinic who was willing to see her the same day. Another regular vet, with no specialty, reviewed the exact same X-ray and immediately prescribed the correct medication Lasix to help with the edema. This clinic avoided responsibility, pushed unnecessary charges and failed to provide basic care. I do not blame the receptionist, but the vet’s lack of knowledge and their uncaring, unprofessional and irresponsible behavior put my cat at risk. I would not recommend this place to anyone with a sick pet.
