We came in for restaurant week looking forward to trying out a new place and some new dishes. We were seated and ordered our meals, drinks and added an extra appetizer. We got some oysters rock along with our meal appetizers which were the chipotle oysters. Sadly we had to send the Rockefeller back… they were raw! I’m not sure if the chipotle oysters were supposed to be cooked but the Rockefeller are, and the “tropic sip” which is a specialty drink had no taste whatsoever. We were dreading the rest of what was to come… but were pleasantly surprised by the main dishes and desserts. The crab cakes were cooked to perfection and my wife’s steak was very juicy and full of flavor.

At first was a little disappointed because the name definitely came off like it was on the water but was pleasantly surprised after we got out food. When we first got there they were doing music bingo and it was so loud and overstimulating I wanted to leave. It would be nice if the tables outside of the main dining area could be used for people not playing bingo. Luckily we asked our server if we could move if it was quieter and at first she said people still play out there but she came back and said no one was out there so it would be quieter. I got the Gouda and beef tips and it was so good 10/10. My boyfriend got a cheesesteak and loved it. We also got crab dip and it was the best we’ve had around here so far. I’m still trying to find crab dip that lives up to Maryland standards though! The cookie skillet was an awesome way to end dinner as well! Compared to other restaurants this place has a decent amount of options for those who don’t like fish/shrimp etc!

The food was good and the location was very pretty. So the menu prices were wrong. The menu said $6 for the kids meal then I was charged $7 per meal. Next, I ordered 2 entrees but only received one, I was only charged for one and it was really big so not really a problem, saved me $21. Also there was a group there before us, we ordered and got our food before them, I know this really bothers some but we got our food first. I would probably go again, they want an 18% tip when you use a credit card.

The dishes are good, and the serving size was ok. The ambiance was cool, food took a bit of time, and I had to ask for refills. Scallops were great, but fish in the fish n chips meal was a bit burnt and brussel spouts as well. The seafood nachos tasted good but lacked meat. Someone kept changing the light brightness and music volume like there was a malfunction, which was weird.
