(from Google)Great brewery, good vibes. Family and dog friendly. Lots of seating. Good selection of their own beer. We enjoyed stouts, IPAs and sours. They had small pours which was good for lots of tastings. It's a bit out of the way from Virginia Beach and other breweries but definitely worth driving out to.
They have great in-house made beers and they taste great 🤩 Food is amazing and the place is very good, visit here and taste the amazing beer 🤩
Stangebier Dirty Monkey Oktoberfest Josephine Peanut butter and Jealous Beers I drank, only two were full pours, others were tasters. A lunch stop, day drinking yup, cool place. There’s outside seating, two rooms of inside seating and a huge brewery in and around the drinking room. Crazy amount of beer production. Every Tuesday a new release. The menu board is two chalk boards, quite the array, from stouts, stopping at gose and hitting a lager. It’s a full menu, my vision is a bit hazy, but it’s on there. The staff was great to chat with, a couple of samples were quaffed. That’s fun stuff right there. That PB&J, how’d they do that??? The dirty monkey, oh yea, a rich stout. The food, yup. Also good. Wraps, fries, BIG pretzel. Perfect. I’ve been to brewery’s all over the country, several in the Va Beach area, this is tops. Easily. I think they should plan a brewery in St Augustine Fla, it’d kill.
First time coming to the brewery. I don’t drink but I did take a sip of my friend’s beer and it was actually so good. That’s why I don’t drink… anyway we got the Diavolo and the Bianca and fries. Wowww such good pizza. Well made. The fries were seasoned so good too. The pizza with the hot honey was awesome. I really enjoyed everything. The vibe in there is really cool and they are chill so there are so many dogs. Lots of seating outside if you aren’t too cold. It is a little too loud in there and they had live music which made it so much louder but still cool. The drink line seemed to be really long and if you aren’t with someone who has been there before you probably wouldn’t know that the QR code on the table is for ordering food. That could be hard to know. And no one seats you or anything it’s just first come first serve with seating and they are just very big picnic tables. Nothing really bad to say but just confusing if you have never been before Also parking is kind of tight.
The location is great and easy to get to, with ample parking available. It’s also extremely dog-friendly, which is what initially drew us in. It was nice to see other dogs around. The building and setting is clean, seating was readily available, and the whole place has a great feel, at least from the decor. Unfortunately, the staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. As first-time customers, we weren’t sure how the ordering and food/beverage system worked, and when we asked for clarification, the staff seemed annoyed or offended. We stopped asking questions and ended up taking our food to go, tipping 20% in advance for someone to bring our food out and nothing else. The food itself was decent. The hot chicken sandwich tasted a bit burnt, but the pizza was tasty. However, the prices felt a bit high for the quality. Based on our experience, we’re not likely to return, but others seemed to be enjoying themselves—maybe it's an acquired taste.
