(from Google)Awesome place to take the kids and family and have an outside kind of day. We had a blast going down the trail. We recommend for a awesome outdoorsy type of day.
Definitely a unique beach! I’ve spent my life in Florida and can definitely say that! There are the white trees toppled over with huge trunks like an umbrella! There is black rock/eroded material that makes very interesting formations and paths!
Excellent, walk all the wat down the beach, then walk back up to your vehicle on the paved path. Beautiful scenery, very enjoyable hike!
When I go to beaches, parking, restrooms, and showers are important to me. Everything here is well-maintained. There's soap and paper towels in the restrooms. Changing rooms are also located in the same building.
So we went to little Talbot island to hike with some friends . The total hike was about 3 miles and that is thru the woods and on the beach the trail is fairly easy but has lots of mosquitoes. So bring spray. Depending on which way you start you can start on the beach or into the woods . There is plenty of parking . And the cost is 5 dollars access into the state park. You can sit on the beach and enjoy the water or have a picnic in one of the several gazebos they have . There are restrooms on the premises. If you are in the area give this trail a try you will absolutely love it.
