(from Google)The bugs were not present YET ! Great day to be playing in a preserve!
Chill hiking trail, with multiple connecting loop trails attached to add different levels of difficulty. Most are easy & dry, while some are susceptible to getting puddled up thus harder to navigate around, along with thicker brush & areas where the paths get more narrow. Lots of beautiful nature & critters out there, but keep in mind some animals can pose a threat if startled, and attack you or your pet. So although dogs are allowed, I don't necessarily recommend bringing them, or at least keep them leashed and away from the brush where ticks & fleas can get on them. Overall a great little hidden gem out in the middle of nowhere. 👌
Don’t try to all trails, the trails don’t show up. Take a photo of the map kiosk . Nice way to access the NPS trails. Don’t seem to connect to any others like cedar creek preserve.
Great for hiking and horseback riding on trails! Free parking and free entry. Beautiful landscape and photo ops along well-groomed trails.
Some good views from the trails but some of the trails have soft ground.
