(from Google)Another amazing spot here in good ol' FDBX! I've had the privilege to meet people and share my testimony of what Jesus has done for me, in me and now through me! Jesus is the answer, even the animals know this. It's important to listen to each other really listen and that happens here at this park. Some awesome folks but tell AMAZING ANIMALS!
The water spigots have been REMOVED by the city. A fountain has been installed outside the fence, but it's very hard to use to fill the water bowls, and it is turned off from Nov. to April or thereabouts. Also, the city keeps removing any large jugs, big empty plastic bottles, etc., which people leave behind to help with refilling the bowls, claiming they're litter, when clearly they are serving a need made necessary by the removal of the spigots. Frustrating!
This is a very sweet dog park with plenty of room for the dogs to run. I've been there several times and there's always been great dog people to talk to or not, if you prefer. There is a seated area with a cover which is nice for shade.
I am giving this park a 4 because previously, we’ve NEVER HAD A PROBLEM; however, it should be the responsibility of MATURE OWNERS OF DOGS, to be honest about their pet’s temperament. My dog was bit by an aggressive dog named BRUNO, his ear needs to be attended by a veterinarian , and the bleeding needs to stop. BRUNO ATTACKED MY DOG TWICE BEFORE BRUNO’S owner took him out of the park. My dog did nothing to instigate or initiate the attack. This happened with my dog right beside me and I had to go over the bench fast, in order not to get bit by this aggressive dog!! DOG OWNERS, BE MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE. If you know your dog is aggressive, don’t bring him to the dog park. THERE SHOULD BE CONSEQUENCES AND OR MONITORING!! Also, people will have to now watch where they step. Bruno dumped a load in the middle of the park and despite plenty of bags handy, his owners didn’t bother to get it up.
A pretty nice dog park right in the middle of lots of parks and walking paths. There is a cover for shade on both sides, and water bowls for the dogs. It can get pretty muddy if it rains a lot, so they sometimes close it to preserve the grass. There are bathrooms across the street at Kenmore park
