This was a wonderful discovery. The gardens are well maintained offering plants in a hillside setting with many meandering pathways, steps and bridges. There are lovely views, sculptures and seating throughout the grounds. A fantastic way to spend time soaking up nature-plants, flowers, trees, birds, butterflies, squirrels! Free entrance and parking are a bonus.

Absolutely recommend coming here for a time to get in touch with nature. The smell of various plants and flowers makes it so relaxing aside from all the shade that the trees provide. There is plenty of areas to stop and sit while you begin your hiking adventure. Restrooms are clean and the garden is very well maintained. Would definitely come here again if I’m near the area. I visited from La Puente, CA.

Such a beautiful, well kept preserve. You could smell the mint, rosemary and pine! All the unique plants and trees made evey step a pleasure. The views are also a must see.

This place has so many different things to do and there is parking close to bathrooms. There’s trails everywhere as they go up by stairs and down. The trails are dirt and gravel so a little slippery when walking down. The higher you travel up is where there’s more flowers but on the way up there’s plenty of trees, shrubs and benches. There’s also shaded areas when walking. The area also has wonderful views. There’s also a swimming pool in the community center with lifeguards. Next to the returned are regular and water play areas. We saw soccer fields and a bike trail, as well as some large grass areas with some with areas to sit and eat or just relax. This is a very nice and clean facility and garden. They also have EV charging stations.

Nice little community center with a small playground & quaint botanical garden. It is built on a slope, so some areas may be hard to access if disabled or difficulty walking. Many benches to rest/meditate. Not too busy on a late morning school day. Dogs are allowed on a leash, be careful of rattlesnakes. Can walk about a mile to the nearby regional park/lake.
