(from Google)This little trail is a part of the South Mountain Trail system. It appears to start at Ray Road but there is no discernable trailhead with parking and facilities. The trail itself winds around residences following a creek and eventually joins with other bigger trails. There is a paved walk way south of the Ray Road that may be a part of this trail. There are 3 ponds on this section. You can see several species of ducks in the ponds in winter months.
Great place to hike or mountain bike
Nice hidden trailhead that connects to many other south mountain trails. Surprised to see so much vegetation and even tall wild grown palm trees.
Things can be deceiving. I thought this would be a short trail, mostly used by dog owners. It wasn’t. It was really nice and was actually a good hike.
For matters of natural resource security the details of my experience will be noyb. I'm prompted to review this location since its merely a coulpe hundred yards from my living habitat. Therefore, I will say it's beautiful but there is no parking lot or structure unless this is also your homestead, thus you habitat in any of the homes surroundimg the local neighborhood hiking trail which easily permits walking access. Smile because you are beautiful. :-)
