(from Google)Here’s a polished Google review that highlights the restaurant, Jocelyn, and Emily: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My experience at Mangoni in Winter Garden was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Jocelyn, the hostess, greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. She set the tone for what turned out to be a wonderful evening. Our waitress, Emily, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and always one step ahead of our needs. Her professionalism and positive attitude made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. It’s clear that this restaurant takes pride not only in its cuisine but also in providing top-notch service. The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an amazing staff makes Mangoni one of Winter Garden’s standout dining destinations. Thank you to Jocelyn, Emily, and the entire team for such a memorable experience. I look forward to coming back soon! This sounds genuine, professional, and personal without feeling over-the-top.
Had a wonderful almond milk cappucino, balsamic salad with chicken and prosciutto, and pistachio gelato for dessert. My motjer had the brisket foccacia with a side salad and enjoyed it. Well staffed, friendly and fast service. Abby is a great server! Atmosphere is high ceilings with gardeny feel, great for after walking around the Winter Garden farmer's market. Having celiac disease is hard for dining out because not every restaurant can accommodate it. Here they seem knowledgeable enough to help me make a safe choice. The salad was satisfying and nourishing.
My daughter took me here for mother's day. The fig prosciutto Pizza. What's delicious. We had a few drinks and an appetizer of mozzarella tomato and basil cream. Service was good waiters very friendly. We were seated immediately upon arriving. But we did have reservations.Since it was mother's day. Some went on the pricey side. They don't show the prices on their drink menu, which I felt in my opinion only that they were very expensive. I would go back again for a special occasion. But it's probably nowhere that I would go regularly due to the economy. And how much you spend on a visit here?Being that, I am on a limited income. Other than that, it's very lovely restaurant. I recommend it if you have never tried it. Everyone is very friendly in the atmosphere is very nice. It's not a huge place. So if you want to have dinner or a special lunch, I advise making reservations in advance.
Beautiful restaurant with fantastic outdoor space and seating. Didn't care for our waitress. She hovered and was very awkward. The presentation of our food and drinks were phenomenal, but taste was overall meh. I ordered the Caramel Brulee Iced Latte. It was stunning, but had no coffee or syrup flavoring and was more like a cup of almond milk. The pizza was undercooked in the center - raw toppings, unmelted cheese, gooey crust. The mozzarella fritta were plain and the marinara my husband referred to as "tomato juice." I wanted to love it, but it fell flat today. I would come back for the pizza and ask for it cooked more, but pass on the coffee and mozzarella sticks. The tap water is also pretty gross, so be sure to order something else or bottled. In case you were wondering, they do not have SanPellegrino. Wasn't a deal breaker by any means, just a note.
We were very excited to try Mangoni after seeing videos of the Christmas theme they had. We made reservations online about a week before. When we got there, they asked if we had a reservation and sat us right away. We took videos and pictures of all the Christmas decor and started looking at the menu. One part that was very very disappointing was the music... while it was good music... it wasn't Christmas music, so that really took away from the entire theme. Then came the service. Our server was Tristan and we thought his personality and professionalism were absolutely awful. From the start, he came across as very condescending and semi rude. He told us nothing about the specials or even the happy hour. We overheard the server behind us telling his table about everything. That's how we even knew. We were never planning to be "cheap" and order happy hour things... but it would've been nice to be told. We spent a very good amount for being just 2 of us... around $140 The food, however, was really really delicious. We would return for the food. But I would never want to sit in Tristan's section again. Every time we asked for something, he didnt even respond with words. It was "mmhmm" every single time. The only good thing I can say about his service was that he cleared empty glasses and plates as soon as they were finished. But his personality really did put a damper on our whole first experience at Mangoni.
