(from Google)Great trail!! Very nice parking area with restrooms. Well groomed trail - each switchback turns has park bench seating to rest. Plenty of signage. Amazing views!! For all skills levels... take your time or run.
Great hike about 1 mile and amazing views. So worth it
We saw a paraglider descending the mountain! Everyone is friendly on the trail. Trim your toenails for the downhill. Saw a 3 year old with back pack going up!
Came up to the parking to watch the fireworks on the 4th and 24th. We had to find somewhere else on the 4th because of no parking. The 24th was nice. The view is amazing.
So good. *Definitely* go in the morning, or in the evening, or on a cooler day: there's very little shade, and it's so hot. Trail is mostly dirt and some rocks and is pretty steep. I saw ages young adult and up. It took me an hour to get to the top in 100° and about 30 minutes to get down. It's about a mile up. There are occasionally a few benches on the side of the trail. You have options to go to the top and bottom of the Y. For me, as an amateur hiker, it was very hard. Scenery isn't anything spectacular, but it's pretty. I would recommend hiking and running as the only feasible option here for activities. There's bathrooms at the bottom and a decently large parking lot.
