The staff at the Downers Grove office are exceptional. They go above and beyond any other vet clinic I have ever been to. The vets pay attention to the small details and catch potential issues before they turn into bigger problems. I can’t thank the Downers Grove team enough for teaching me the risks of a grain free diet, and helping to pick out a food that will help my dog live a longer, healthier life. I know my dog is in good hands when she’s at Banfield.

If I can give this 0 stars I would. My dog got neutered here and after he got neutered it had costed us over 8k in hospital bills and emergencies. Our dog developed a infection no where near the Incision sight was at and went into septic shock. We had to take our dog to the hospital and he was hospitalized from it. We took our dog here 2x for his infection and they didnt do anything and charged us for more money when they thought he had a blood disorder. Our dog almost died because of what they did. Do not take your pets here they are very unsanitary and unprofessional.

We followed Dr. Setar to this location from another Banfield location. She’s great- always so kind, listens, and I feel like she truly cares for my doodle. She goes over and above and I value her knowledge and kindness. At the front desk Toby and Kaiden are always so happy and welcoming when we check in!! I appreciate those three people greatly!! I always think the health plans are a great option I am very grateful every year- I feel like we utilize all services in the plan

Banfield in Downers Grove Horrible from check in to vet. At check in they didn’t verify any of my information. I have a new address. They normally ask if I want nail trim which I did but forgot because I was trying to handle 2 pets at once. Vet tech asked minimal questions then took my cat back. I told vet tech cat was constipated. Vet said nothing. No idea what was even done because the doctor told me nothing about my cat. They then took my dog and came back said vaccines were done. They didn’t even ask which ones I wanted they just gave him what they wanted. At this point I don’t even feel confident that they gave any. Again vet said nothing about the dogs health. He did say he didn’t look in his mouth or draw blood. Those are two of the most basic parts of a comprehensive exam. I mentioned to the vet tech I thought the dog had a broken canine and vet chose not to look yet tell me he could need a surgery to remove his canine. Such a disappointing visit. Will look into purchasing vet insurance and find a vet that cares about their job and the pets they treat.

My elderly dog and cat are well cared for and welcomed patients at our Banfield facility in Lombard/Downers Grove IL. Both are long time wellnessj plan members and have always had the best care possible.
