(from Google)Typical desert trees and shrubs flanked by beautiful mountain ranges. Gorgeous moon rise and sun set can be seen. Perfect for walking, hiking.
Beautiful area. Many well-marked trails of different lengths. All seemed to be fairly flat in the sections we traveled. Appropriate for many levels of fitness/ability.
Great place. Nice to visit in cooler weather. Very helpful volunteers as you enter the preserve.
Absolutely beautiful nature preserve with a lot of hiking trails and biking trails. Make sure to bring water as fill up stations are limited. Highly suggested for a short morning hike and afternoon bike adventure.
Absolutely recommend a morning hike in this beautiful Scottsdale preserve. I visited from Colorado and was impressed with the clean trailhead restrooms, volunteer staff helping you find the perfect trail for your time frame and skill level, and amount of free parking. Gateway Trail and nearby bridge are perfect for a morning walk/hike with not much incline although there are some little rocks so no strollers. The trailhead starts right after the restrooms. Easy to find parking lot. Our Lyft driver had never been there and we found it easily on map.
