(from Google)Beautiful park with playground, picnic pavilions, and some trails. Also plenty of beach access right out in the Gulf. Lots of sea birds to view, restrooms, plenty of parking and there is usually a food truck or two for ice cream, shaved ice, and refreshments. Old Florida at its best. Recommend.
Such a beautiful and quiet place. Watching dolphins swim so close to us while we were taking photos was unreal. It’s one of those moments I’ll never forget. I just wish I had more time there.
The perfect day doesn't exist—oh wait, yes it does. 🌴 Whether you’re paddling the mangroves or catching that famous Gulf sunset, Howard Park is the move today. 🌊☀️ Who’s joining? 🙋♂️🙋♀️ #TarponSprings #HowardPark #FloridaLife #ThreadsTravel
Beautiful sunset when we were there valentines weekend!! Parking is close to the beach. Valentines weekend the waves were very calm & gentle. Bathrooms are basic & open air, glad they are there. We’ve been to this beach from central FL multiple times & will come back.
This is an absolutely beautiful secluded beach that is well worth the drive and the journey. Parking was $6.35 for the whole day. The shoreline is well preserved with jagged rocks and other natural formations. Spotted many birds and other wildlife. A nice place to go wading, fishing, or just walking around on the beach. Recommend getting here early in the summer and spending a few hours before it gets too hot. Had a wonderful morning and enjoyed spending some time in nature away from the city.
