(from Google)This is by far the best dog boarding facility in Dallas, TX. They are attached to a pet hospital, so if literally anything happens to your pet while in their care, they can take care of them. Likewise, they have groomers that can take care of any bathing and/or grooming needs for your pet during their stay. Likewise, they have farm in Ennis, TX and your pet will have a ton of room to play and roam. They always take such good care of my Golden Retreiver (Buddy), and always make sure he is up to date on his meds. They even give me a report card when I pick him up that tells me what dog he played with the most, what his favorite activites were, his behavior, how hungry he was, etc.. This place goes above and beyond and the customer service is incredible! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to board their pet while they are out of town!
My 2 wonderful Havanese literally pull me into the door of the Canine Country club to get groomed- that’s 2 animals who show no fears or anxiety about going and being loved on by all there while they are groomed. The groomers do a great job and make my 2 handsome boys look even better. I love that my boys enjoy their “day of beauty!
My dog, Junior, stayed at the Ranch Retreat for 2 weeks. When I picked him up, he looked visibly thinner- to the point where you could feel his ribs, spine, and hip bones. This was not his condition when he was dropped off. At no point during his stay was I contacted to let me know that he was not eating or losing weight. Had I been informed, I would have made immediate arrangements to intervene or remove him. Boarding facilities have a responsibility to ensure basic health, nutrition, and wellbeing, and to contact owners if any issues arise. Unfortunately, we were never notified of Junior’s condition. This experience reflects a serious failure to monitor the care and welfare of the dogs they board. No pet should be returned to their owner in this condition without explanation or warning. We strongly caution anyone considering boarding here to think twice- we don’t want this happening to anyone else’s dog.
I have had a great experience boarding my dog with Canine Country Club. The value received is well worth the price. I always feel that he is well taken care of and that the staff loves what they do. After his first stay, I hadn’t seen any photos of my dog in the Facebook roundup and mentioned it when I dropped my dog off again and they took special care to ensure the staff snapped some photos so I could see my dog was enjoying himself. They are very communicative about drop off and pick up times, and I enjoy the option to have an exit bath so he’s nice and clean when I pick up my dog.
ASK to see the Ranch Retreat!!! The dogs only go out twice a day, No one is allowed bedding, and they will refuse to let you see their Retreat Kennel because it is so bare, uncomfortable, out dated, and disgusting. All dogs are on forced to sleep on bare cement flooring, and heating and cooling is nowhere near sufficient. notice how there are NO pictures of the actual place dogs sleep. Only the outside time. There is no kind of documenting in place for if a dog got fed, let out, or not. Some dogs came back to their owners with elbows bleeding from the concrete they made them sit on for 22hrs of the day. edit: They do not deny, CCC simply avoids and ignores the true issues with their practices. If you look below, you will see evidence of the bare cement floors, wire/ cement walls, and proof of their schedule. ALSO, Overnight accommodations is a lie. No one is scheduled or paid to watch the dogs overnight at the ranch. Another lie they will soon try to edit out of their website.
