Great place to jog! The only things that would make it better would be a permanent restroom and water fountains. They do have portapotties for now.
Not sure how many miles. But I jogged and walked off and on every other two mins, twice around and it took literally 30mins. It's paved and wide, very clean and well lit.
A grounded native turtle crossed my path while walking, I stop and wait until it reached the opposite side moving to lagoon. A sudden and nice experience. 😂👍🏼
Been going here for my morning walk since 2016. So happy they've made it an official park. Looking beautiful with all the renovations, including extra parking, a wide sidewalk for walkers or joggers, new landscape, cleaned up brush, sprinkler systems, pet stations to keep it clean, fencing for ponds, ramps for cyclists or scooter riders. Only thing missing is a ramp on the south west side, coming from the apartments on Jackson, and restrooms facilities. Adding these things would make it perfect! Thank you City of Edinburg!👍👍
