(from Google)Only giving 4 stars because while on my walk I swear I heard a duck yell out “fat girl!” I thought that was hilarious tho. I’m not joking, my grandma used to own geese and they’re very smart little fellows. Overall nice little trail made of concrete, however a soft gravel trail would’ve been better for my feet 😄
People like this who let their dogs run around off leash and don’t pick up their dogs poop make the park less enjoyable. Twice I have seen this same woman with her unleashed dogs get angry at people when their dog escaped its leash or gets aggressive with her unleashed dogs. She loves to get upset at THEM when her dogs run up on other people and their leashed animals. What’s the point of the signage and the trash areas if there is no accountability or enforcement. Bad dogs don’t exist, only bad owners.
Great place for a quick jog, bike ride or walk on a very nice park. The City of Edinburg keeps improving it recently adding covered sitting areas and exercise equipment. The loop is about a mile long and is located around a reservoir. There a lot of beautiful waterfowl in the water. The busiest times are early morning and late evening. If you’re fortunate to go during work hours it’s nice and quiet.
A great park for jogging! It’s a mile loop around the water reservoir so you get a nice view during the golden hour. I love that around sunset the community comes out and the park comes alive.
Perfect place to run a one mile loop. It's pretty safe and filled with people since early morning. There are no restrooms, only porta potties. The lights are motion sensored and will turn brighter as you walk on by. Only 3 are not working. In the early morning, you get to see 🐇 and centipedes. You can also see a variety of birds because of the water. On occasions, people forget to pick up after their dogs. The sunrise and sunset are perfectly reflected on the water.
