(from Google)They took me in as an emergency. They treated me and my little Artie as family! I do not remember the vet techs name but she gives the best calming hugs and Dr. Mears is wonderful! Thank you all so much with all my heart for saving my kitty!
I brought my dog here for an emergency after she got ahold of a popsicle stick. Called them morning of and brought her a few hours later and they were able to look at and help her. All very professional, I thought my dog was agressive to people and they did a good job accommodating for it, but my dog ended up being friendly anyways. Most staff members I talked to were great, and so was the doctor and tech that helped me. I cannot Rmemeber their names but they’re great and I will be bringing my dog back.
Staff is always friendly! Clyde loves everyone at Indian Ridge but he definitely has a few favorites! Love Dr. Amanda! She's wonderful!
I am giving this place a one-star review because I do not feel our family was fully informed about the severity of our dog Hank’s condition. After he was attacked by a wild animal, we brought him here for emergency care. While they were quick to assess him, we were required to pay in full before any treatment was started, even though he was in critical condition. We were told he would receive surgery right away, but it was delayed for over 5 hours. Throughout the process, we were reassured that he would be okay and given a relatively positive outlook. When we picked him up the next day, his condition appeared much worse than expected, and we were given very limited instructions for his care and pain management. Later that night, his condition rapidly declined. Despite calling for guidance, we were reassured that his symptoms were normal. Tragically, he passed away early the next morning after experiencing severe distress. Our concern is not the effort made to treat him, but the lack of clear and honest communication about how serious his condition truly was. If we had fully understood the extent of his injuries and prognosis, we would have made different decisions to ensure he did not suffer as much as he did.
Pls don’t ever take ur pets here if you want to see them again, I brought my sweet girl Halo (a rabbit) to get spayed, Dr Matt Mears was her Doctor, he said that the surgery went well and all was good I just had to give her some medicine, so I did but as time went on the place where she was opened up at for surgery on her tummy started to grow and become a big bump, obv concerned I called and brought her back to Indian Ridge Animal Hospital, Dr Mears admitted he messed up the stitches/sutures causing her to grow a hernia from the original surgery, he told us he would give us a free surgery to fix the hernia, we brought her in to get it fixed, and little did I know that would be the last time I saw my sweet girl, Dr Mears said that the surgery went fine but for some reason “unknown reason she went into cardiac arrest” his exact words after the surgery she passed. I’m left with a lifetime of heartbreak and I still miss my baby more and more everyday I have just now finally gotten the courage to speak about this incident, I must also mention how unempathetic Dr Mears was, after finding out my baby was gone I immediately called the hospital to check for myself, when I got on the call obv in shock and asking about my baby I was given a cold “sorry” and them telling me she had passed. Pls don’t make the same mistake I did by bringing your baby here I wish everyday I could take it back.
