It’s another day in paradise for my Husband. As an experienced hiker who loves hiking 🥾 in the mountains 🏔️. He had some choices to choose between hiking 🥾 or mountain ⛰️ biking 🚴‍♀️. He chose to do the hike himself and start walking from Grove Creek and made it to the Battle Creek Falls Trails Head. A very strenuous hike and it was well worth the trip. This is not for beginners but if you love to hike and love a challenge and want to try out these trails, then go for it! Why not take a longer hike uphills to the Battle Creek Falls Trail Head and continue your journey along that path for more trails. He shared these moments that he captured during his trails there so here you go Hikers, campers, mountain bikers 🚵‍♀️ and beginners, mid, advanced. It’s a beautiful place to visit. Last, he was able to go on a loop 🔂 back down to on the trails heading towards the Bonneville shoreline and back to where he was parked at when he first started walking from Grove Creek. He had hiked more than 11 miles on a looping trail. He said he wanted to go further more and farther and seeks that next adventure again with me this time! 😉.

Great family-friendly hike! This is a great short hike for everyone. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow, making it perfect for kids and beginners. My kids absolutely loved the beautiful waterfall at the end, it’s a great reward after a quick, scenic walk. Highly recommend for a fun family outing!

The palette of colors here is breathtaking during the fall. The falls are pretty neat, but hike another 1.5 miles to the top. It's worth it. It's a steep trail most of the way, with some drop offs and narrow points.

This is one of my favorite hikes in Utah. The trek to the waterfall is an easy to moderate hike the whole family will enjoy! But don’t stop there. If you keep going up and past the falls, you will be greeted with beautiful scenic views! It is mostly on a steady incline, and let’s be honest, I had to stop and take a few breaks, but that’s ok because you will want to stop and take many photos. Enjoy!

WARNING: this is a Moderate to Difficult Trail depending on how far you go up. You should be "Active" to do this hike. I will add that it was worth it for the view but I'm exhausted. To the Falls is Moderate but Steep in places. I wouldn't suggest it for small children or the Unhealthy. The Falls are beautiful and the temperature is much cooler near the water. Passed the Falls it gets much steeper and there is little shade. You hike next to and cross a stream several times but if you go to the end of the trail there is no water and not many shady spots to cool down. I'd suggest 2 liters of water per person for the full hike. I will be back when it's cooler and I'm in better shape.
