Pet Supplies Plus Plano

I got a coupon in the mail for Pet Supplies and decided since I have 3 dogs, a chinchilla, and a hamster that I should check it out. I did an order online and then went to pick up my order from the store a few hours later. I didn't have time to walk the store but while I was there momentarily I was greeted by 4 different employees. Whoever is handling the hiring, please pat yourself on the back. Excellent customer service! Each of them was friendly and super respectful. One gentleman even offered to carry out the dog food to my car! Super impressed and will definitely be returning. Thanks for a positive first experience.

The self serve dog wash here has been seriously declining over the past year or so. It was pretty good when we started using it a few years ago. There were always plenty of dry towels, the equipment worked well enough and an employee regularly cleaned up the huge mess of fur and water that accumulates in the stalls and on the floor. But that is no longer the case. For the past year we've consistently had to stand on a wet, filthy floor with no employee in sight. There are almost never more than a few dry towels, and those are often gone before we finish washing our dog. The water temperature fluctuates constantly, and the air dryers by the stalls put out nothing but room temperature air on their highest setting. They're no help when we have to rely on them because either there are no dry towels to begin with, or the towels run out while we're washing our dog. The shampoos also seem to be watered down now because a wash doesn't last as long as it used to. But I'm writing this because its become a regular thing to go to the front of the store to ask the group of employees that are usually standing around talking if we can get some dry towels for our shivering dog. The first time an employee said they were having trouble with their towel dryer and found a few hand towels in a cabinet. Most recently they just said 'Sorry, our dryer is acting up, and we can't keep up with demand'. Every time they had no idea they had run out of dry towels because no one was checking. This most recent visit was on a Tuesday afternoon around 2:30 PM. We've learned to only come here mid-week because this wash is always completely overwhelmed on the weekends. But none of that explains why four people are standing around talking in a group up front while we're sliding around ankle deep in wet fur for the last 30 minutes nervously watching the towel supply dwindle to nothing. Someone needs to open up a competing self-serve in our area, we'ld switch in a heartbeat.

They are knowledgeable about the products and always ready to offer advice, making the shopping experience feel personal and trustworthy. Love this place! I come here to buy a brand of dog food nobody else carries. I’m lucky there is one so close by but I would happily travel out of my way! The staff is always amazing and friendly and help me carry heavy items to my car. I’ve been shopping here for almost 20 years for my fur babies and don’t plan on going anywhere else.

I have to share the wonderful experiences I receive every time I shop at Pet Supplies Plus on Legacy. From the moment I enter the store when I am welcomed to when a clerk finds me in an aisle and offers me assistance if I need it, I feel like I am receiving Award winning Customer Service! As each is helping me, they inquire about my cats and actually remember them from visit to visit. That is just incredible to me and shows their dedication to their job and love for animals. Coming in the store having listened to my situation of my finicky cats that turn their nose up to most food , actually remembered my last visit and asked “how did that last selection of canned food go with those kittens? “ WOW !! I felt like I was the only customer in the store! Pet Supplies plus always carries my purchases to my car and have a policy of excepting returns if I Purchased a bag of dry food and I tried one little bowl and they never touched it! Incredible return policy. Great because they donate to local shelters. I’ve never received such great customer service from any store I’ve gone to. Thank you Pet Supplies plus for all you do! Your prices are great your customer service is beyond words and I will continue spreading the word !
