Scott is an excellent trainer. We were trying to integrate my three dogs and my boyfriend‘s dog into my home. I have two that are aggressive with other dogs and I did not have a lot of hope that this was going to work. He came to my home and worked with my dogs, quickly assessed the problem, And gave us detailed instructions how to handle the situation and correct their behavior. We worked with them for about 10 days.. And I can tell you, we are six days in to all living in the same home and everybody getting along beautifully. I highly recommend Scott to help with any of your dog training needs.

We are extremely thankful that we found CTRG! The training results were amazing, but more importantly we felt comfortable with the boarding/training process and knew that Bear was in great hands. Here are some of the things that my wife and I loved about our experience: 1. Training/Boarding is done in a family home where you know your dog will be given attention and treated well. 2. You get to meet Scott and Rachel in their home for the initial consultation and there is no pressure to leave your dog if you don’t feel comfortable. 3. It is obvious that they love animals and know what they are doing. 4. Frequent updates and pictures are sent (see attached photos) and you are allowed to go see your dog if you want to. 5. Owners are trained as well, and a personalized training program is provided upon program completion. 6. Pricing is clear (no hidden fees), very reasonable, and various payment methods are accepted. Our biggest problem was jumping on walks (it was bad) which they were able to correct and teach us how to stop on our own, but we left with so much more than we expected. Specifically, the scent detection work has been a game changer and we now feel like we have more tools to be better owners. 10/10 recommend!

CTRG has exceeded my expectations! I reached out looking for assistance with our reactive older dog and integrating our new GSD mix puppy into the household. Scott was beyond professional, non-judgmental, and gave a full and thorough assessment of the situation. It was a pleasure working with him. He even picked up on a potential health issue that could be contributing to the reactivity, which we found out was after pressing our vet for a more thorough exam. The assessment and plan was clear, concise, and easy to follow. We’ve implemented each suggestion made as we go and the success we’ve had is astounding. The support offered has also been top-notch. With our commitment and CTRG’s support and guidance, we have gone from a dog that was unable to tolerate the new puppy visually without lashing out and reacting aggressively to positive results, tolerance, and them being able to calmly coexist in the same space together. Scott was great at listening to the concerns we had with our pup and creating targeted interventions. He taught us activities to teach the skills we desire as well as gave us tips on our interactions with her. Scott has helped us provide consistent rewards and directives that our pup is eager to follow and he's given us the skills to take it to the next level when we are ready. Two sessions with Scott not only helped with the concerning behaviors but has had a ripple affect and our pup is even more eager to please.
