(from Google)If you are from anywhere else than FL, this is considered a sidewalk….like a sidewalk you are walking down where there is a road to one side of you and a nice man-made FL lake with a hopefully in use fountain. Very pretty on the side with the water, very short walk, would not ever consider it a hiking spot/trail, even if you walk to where it reaches the back of the library. Side walk with a nice water scene to one side of you and street/buildings on the other…for like 5mins maybe of a walk.
Very little trail, it's just a sidewalk along the road. We try and walk different trails. This was disappointing
Not really a nature trail as much as a paved walkway around a pond by the hospital parking lot. If you live near, I can see the charm but if you drove in for a hike..... Look elsewhere.
Small little trail perfect for those who live or work nearby. If you happen to be at Parsons Park next door take time if you able to walk along the trail. The backside is along the garage parking of Brandon Regional Hospital leading into the gazebo behind the Public Library. Maybe half a mile at that. Sidewalk the whole way for those using wheelchairs. You could extend your walk around Parson Baseball fields and playgrounds for a longer walk. Benches along the lake/pond. Aside from the water fountain in the water, during Christmas holiday a tree will be lit up in the water at the Library end.
This is a nice, short walk. Good for anyone who lives or works nearby to take a little stroll or get in a few laps. The sidewalk does go all of the way around the lake, but comes really close to the hospital, busy road, and other business buildings making it a little awkward of a peaceful walk if that's what you're looking for.
