We could not have been luckier to find Gabriel. He started working with our puppy Annie when she was only 9 weeks old. He taught us how to crate train her within 2 days, and helped us with a schedule for potty training. We did board and train with him once she started leash walking and she came back the same sweet puppy but with infinitely more manners and a great walker in the busy (and sometimes gross) BK streets. What makes him so amazing is he doesn’t discipline but teaches the pups emotional regulation so they can settle in all situations and be happy, healthy dogs. We get comments constantly at how well adjusted and sweet our now 1 year old Annie is in all situations - big parties, stores, coffee shops, dog parks etc. and that’s all thanks to the foundation Gabriel set. We can’t recommend him enough!!

Gabriel is an amazing trainer and we would recommend him to absolutely anyone. We adopted a dog who became very reactive after his initial shyness and were completely flummoxed and incredibly stressed. One session with Gabriel immediately gave us peace of mind. Not only did he help train our dog, but he helped train us by giving us the skills to work with our dog ourselves. I have followed up with Gabriel over multiple sessions because we had such a great experience with him. Highly recommend!

Simply put, Gabriel is a miracle worker. I adopted a dog, Tootsie, who I could not get to leave the house for 2 weeks, she was completely shut down with fear. He had her happily walking outside on the leash within 5 minutes of meeting her. His knowledge of dog behavior and ability to teach me the skills I needed to best support her. I highly, highly recommend his services to anyone looking for dog training.

Boarding our dog, Toast, with Gabriel for 2.5 weeks was the best decision we have made! We completely trust Gabriel's gentle, positive reinforcement approach. Toast was happy, confident, and showed incredible improvements in recall and off-leash socialization almost immediately. Gabriel also ensured our success at home by walking us through a detailed, step-by-step training plan when we picked Toast up. We have seen a huge improvement in Toast's behavior and cannot recommend Gabriel enough!

My son got Gracie, who is a pitti, as a rescue a year ago. She is a young strong dog, about 60lbs. My husband is retired and he watches her while my son works. We live in a large old Brooklyn apt building. The halls are narrow and the elevator can be full. There are times when Gracie will react strongly with some of the neighbors. This behavior is unpredictable. A lot of people don't like and are unfamiliar with dogs. They will stare at Gracie, and she is at 100 is ferocious. She is scary. That is a very uncomfortable and unwelcome situation and dangerous too. A dog like Gracie needs to be trained and we need to be trained too. We hired Gabriel to help us to understand how to work with Gracie. Over the year, we have had him come to our building and work with us 4x. It has been enormously helpful. He has helped us to work on specific things, like distraction by way of side pulling with the leash (never pulling back!), breaking her concentration on the one person, that is causing Gracie to go ballistic, with a gentle side pull, a circle away from the stimulus and a sharp noise that get her attention away from the stimulus. The goal is de escalate and it works! Having Gabriel work with us has helped us to gain the confidence necessary to work with our sweet charcoal gray Gracie. We will have come over again for a refresher session. Everyone needs a refresher. Our relationship with our dogs area always dynamic, never static, and a reminder of how to be with them is good thing. I really liked Gabriel!
