(from Google)Was there back in 2023 and it was nice area to take a walk around. A small hill with a nice overview of the area. Lots of water birds around.
Love kayaking here, it is very scenic and quiet. We went on a 2-hour kayak paddling adventure and covered about 5 miles and only saw one other party of people.
Beautiful Nature for sure! Loved reading about the trails and the battle and the showing of Indian artifacts on board before you walk in. We so loved this place came here often for a little picnic and relaxation. Outside in Nature fish jumping birds flying singing. Butterflies fluttering by so beautifully as well as the dragonflies. The Osprey and Bald Eagles oh what a sight. We always took our little dog Panda❤️😁 he sure loved it too!
Nice place for fishing time ....not many fishing spot cause the mangrove is very invasive here.i think the best option for fishing is launching kayak, free boat ramp no parking in area just on the side of the way and no restrooms
Always pretty nice with the furthest south paved boat ramp in Hillsborough County. No bathrooms or docks. Single ramp. With the increased growth in our local population and number of boaters you can expect it to be busy, especially on weekends. For courtesies sake to speed up getting in the water get your boat loaded for your trip while in line to launch. Just a friendly suggestion. Be cautious, safe and have fun!
