(from Google)They've been great with our pets, they have membership plans which are helpful spreading the costs out especially with our older animals.
I just got off the phone with a corporate customer service rep who was calling in response to my complaint about the new location, yes she called on a Sunday. The team who scouted the location didn’t give consideration to people with their fur babies having to get them safely in the front door in an extremely busy shopping strip location with a Starbucks drive thru that wraps around the opposite end of the strip where the vet is. Zero consideration was given for the fur babies’ safety and that of their owners. It was challenging during my first visit at this new location after following Dr. Hendon for decades to even find a parking space. I told the receptionist for this recent appointment that if no spots were available for this visit, I was going to keep driving. At the end of the call this morning, the rep made sure to note that I was financially beholding to this corporate demon for the next year since I renewed the care club membership. I’m thinking, wow! Sorry Gumfory and Hendon sold out to them! And, yes, until I can find another vet to go to after 36 years, I want to save money. I know she thinks she had a point when she acknowledged the renewal when I’m so unhappy with the location. I trust Dr. Wallace and Dr. McNeal and until I find another vet location where I know is a good alternative for the well being of my fur babies, I will go there as needed. That doesn’t change the fact they didn’t do a mindful job in finding a new location. They were inconsiderate to families and their pets. They also didn’t find a location anywhere near the same neighborhood they came from. I would venture a guess their practice mainly consisted of families who had been loyal for 10+ years. Shame on the customer service rep for throwing up the renewal of the care plan to dilute my concerns.
The staff is caring and knowledgeable. When I couldn’t get my girl baby dog to take her oral meds, Cindy. Vet assistant., held and comforted her while I got the pills down her without any trouble. It means a lot to have that kind of help! This practice is wonderful!
I have been a client of this clinic for several years. Today I called to get an appointment for my cat who is “not herself”. I was told the first time she could be seen was Monday. The person I talked with said if you need her seen sooner you can go to one of the ER’s. I know from experience that an ER would start at $300. I have no idea what’s wrong with her so I really cannot wait for her to be seen. She could be dead by Monday. I will be looking for another vet who will be available when I really need them.
I can't say enough great things about this place and the employees. I've been going here for 20+ years. Dr Paul Hendon is amazing. All my pets are excited to see him and I would never go any where else. We even have fun in the waiting rooms.
