Thanks for saving my kiddos cat’s life. We appreciate your service. She is a source of therapy to my children. So saving her, you have done than just saving the cat. You saved them as well. Thanks very much. Blessings

The team and doctor kept me informed every step of the way. They asked many questions to make sure nothing was missed to best help Rex get the proper care during and after. Staff is friendly and informative.

Took our 10 year old chihuahua mix for heartworm treatment expecting service immediately to take at most a few months and see improvement in her condition. Even with appointments, every time we went we waited in the lobby the whole day until they closed or were close to closing time. Treatments were very expensive every visit, upwards of over 4000 total dollars already spent at the clinic and the clinic has still not officially diagnosed the dog. Diagnosis keeps changing, at first prior to treatment she’s healthy, then she now keeps having seizures, heart attacks, and other episodes we do not even know what they are. When we try to buy the prescription items, they’re each ranging from 50-200 dollars, and the poor pet keeps getting more and more episodes as time goes by. Updates in phone calls and emails are not helpful or thorough. When we tried to order prescribed medicine, it got declined by the clinic because we needed to do an “additional exam” that we already did. Then, when we say we already did that, they ask us to reorder the item almost a week after we had ordered it, delaying the dogs intake of the prescribed item. I’m not sure if it was even refunded. On another occasion, they called to tell us about our “scheduled appointment” in three days. We were very confused because we did not schedule any appointment but assumed they’d finally address the seizures. When we called to ask what the appointment entailed, they said that we called and scheduled it because we noticed an ear infection at the groomer?? Our dog is a short haired chihuahua and does not have a professional groomer. We groom her at home. We called to cancel it. Lots of files getting mixed up we have lost confidence in the clinic. Very unprofessional service and unethical to prolong the suffering of an animal that cannot use words to express pain while taking more and more money from the owners. Hopefully an official diagnosis will come soon, but we are looking into other clinics since we are not seeing the service we’d prefer in this one. Please be more upfront about costs, treatment, and not knowing what is happening earlier on and referring clients to another specialist or clinic.

Last month, I brought one of my dogs in during a very difficult time. Despite the heartbreaking circumstances and his eventual passing, the staff were very gracious and empathetic throughout the visit. They even offered a ceramic paw print as a keepsake to remember him by. When a condolence card arrived today, it was a beautiful reminder of their kindness.

Alex was gracious enough to squeeze my cat, Ren, in as a walk-in when he wasn’t feeling well. He was very transparent about there being a long wait time, which I truly appreciated. We were seen by Dr. Garza and Ever, and Ren required a cystotomy performed by Dr. Garza and Dr. Debruyn. Due to his condition, he was considered a high-risk patient. Throughout Ren’s journey, I was an emotional mess, but the staff at MVH truly showed their compassion, empathy, and kindness every step of the way. They allowed me to visit Ren after hours/weekends. They also kept me updated on his status multiple times a day, which meant so much during such a stressful time. Ren stayed under the care of Dr. Garza, Dr. Treviño, Yesenia, and Grace, and I cannot thank them enough. Just knowing that Ren felt safe and comfortable to the point that he was asking for pets gave me so much peace of mind. As Ren continues his recovery, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Debruyn, Dr. Garza, Dr. Treviño, Alex, Cassy, Ever, Grace, Yesenia, and everyone else behind the scenes who helped care for him. I highly recommend MVH for your pet’s needs. They are transparent about the journey your pet may endure, upfront about pricing (will work with your budget), and consistently caring and compassionate. They have truly earned my trust. Even Cassy remembers me by name, which speaks volumes about how much they genuinely care about their clients and their pets. Everyone most definitely deserve a raise!! MVH has saved my college buddy🤍 (Added a photo of Ren when it was just us two surviving a college dorm)
