(from Google)I love this little spot. There's a few places you can drop a small boat. As well as tables. Playground for the littles. We have seen some cool wildlife here. Alligators, ibis, herons and many squirrels.
Perfect place for a picnic. Good place to fish, family parties I've been to here a few times in my life. Recently I came here with a blanket and sat under a tree and read my book and made a valentines day card. Spent about 6 hours there it was beautiful and quiet. Almost walked up on a gator sunbathing !!!!
Pretty park for a stroll with nice playground for the kids. Saw quite a few egrets.
Tranquil and ideal for relaxation and meditation; nature observing; fishing or walking your dog. Parking surrounded with beautiful trees, picnic tables hidden throughout little alcove and pathways that overlook the river water. Park is unsaved, dirt road throughout so in rainy weather may not be ideal to visit. Be cautious of the alligators as there are plenty in the waters and they can easily sneak up on you. No public bathrooms or commercial buildings located inside park; it's mainly untouched natural at its best.
This park is beautiful! One of my favorite "peaceful" places in the area. I coach a Cross Country team and we have met here to run several times. I also took my daughter's 16th birthday photos here. It's the PERFECT place for gorgeous photos! ❤️
