(from Google)Dear Lakeland Animal Clinic Team, I am writing to share my positive experience during my recent visit. I was introduced to my new veterinarian, Dr. Katelyn Clark, and a technician named Laura. Both greeted me with kindness and a smile, and Dr. Clark provided care with professional efficiency. I have two dogs of different breeds, sizes, and ages—a senior and a five-year-old. Both were treated with the kindness and tenderness they deserve. It is very important for pets to feel comfortable in their environment, and I truly appreciate the effort your staff made to provide that comfort to both my pets and me. Thank you for your excellent service. I look forward to continuing our relationship with your clinic. Best regards, Hugo Diaz
I have been using this clinic for over three years and absolutely love it here. I have 11 animals and we have been through some times! Dr Kyle and vet tech Kyhla are absolutely amazing. All of the staff (im terrible with names) are great. Front desk is always very helpful too. This clinic is very clean, staff is personable, and I always feel my animals are in good hands! Sure the prices here are higher , BUT you get what you pay for. Appointments are nearly always on time, very professional staff, and spot on care. You guys rock!
We were just there. Dr. Kyle went to examine our older female cat who can be aggressive at times. I let the front desk know this and they said it was fine to bring her in/didn't recommend medication. In the past, she had a terrible reaction to gabapentin twice so we avoid that completely. The tech got her out. Wasn't wearing gloves so I recommended it and reminded them of her aggression. The tech put on gloves and placed a cone on her head. She hissed but didn't struggle until they tried to get her back into the carrier. This was after her exam. The vet goes on to tell me that they can't vaccinate her because of her aggression (which wasn't even a problem until they put her back in the carrier and after her complete exam was done - keep in mind over $100). I pointed out the fact that she had a cone on and they're wearing gloves. She then goes on to say that it could stress her out and it's her job to advocate for the cat. She then recommended gabapentin or sedation. I'm not a vet, but if a pet parent says her cat had a bad reaction to a medication, why would you then suggest that same medication? Also, why would you then jump to sedating an elderly cat who already doesn't react well to medication under the guise that you're just trying to keep the cat safe? The vet just didn't want to deal with the cat. You're a vet! You can't tell me you've never dealt with an upset cat or you don't have the equipment to do so. I will not be paying for the "exam" and I will not be bringing my cats or my dog back there. You completely wasted my time and offered no viable solution to the problem - guess you thought you were just going to collect $400 for a quick, no hassle exam, administer some shots, and then move on to the next customer. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for the free cone, though! I went home, wrapped her in a towel, and clipped her nails without issue :) Maybe you should learn how to handle animals properly since that's your job! I did my due diligence by giving you a heads up - you were obviously not interested in caring for my cat.
I called early Monday morning and was given an appointment for early afternoon. The receptionist, vet tech and doctor were all so nice. They treated our poodle with great care. She didn't shake like she does at other vet offices we've been to. I would definitely recommend Lakeland Animal Clinic for your pet care. Prices were reasonable also.
Lakeland Animal Clinic is a 5 star clinic, the staff are kind and they smile, that's so important! Dr. Kyle is so nice and also so kind and just has a great personality to be a veterinarian! Jeannie is super, a wonderful veterinary assistant, just a lovely person... Dr. Kyle is blessed to have her! What a wonderful place to take your fur baby, ( even though Bella is 12). ;) Go ahead and make that appointment for your furry loved one!!!
