(from Google)We were very happy to find a good veterinarian. They were very nice and understood that I didn't speak Spanish. So they spoke in English. We feel very satisfied and now are dogs 🐕🐶 have a place to be seen.
Very attentive courteous and professional staff. They explain the process well. Great value for the services provided. Ive been to them worh an emergency and no appointment and was greeted with same hospitality as with an appointment. Highly recommend as the front end to technician and doctors are bilingual too. Also, super easy to find.
They tried everything possible to keep our 15 year olds fur baby going but at the end we decided to put him to sleep to stop the pain. The Doctors and the nurses are very friendly. It made us happy to know that our youth is staying and working in our Island as they are all very young. They are a blessing to our country.
** If this vet was located in the states it would be shut down for malpractice. I’ve spoken to many people- please believe me- the only reason they’re open/ have good reviews is because there aren’t many options here. There’s a reason why they’re one of the only places that will do spays/ neuters for a low price & no deposit. If you have a furbaby/ family member and not a pet- Do Not Go Here! Brought my cat to get spayed today. Was called 2 hrs after for pick up. When asked why she wasn’t observed after in case of a bad reaction to the anesthesia, I was told “she looked stressed out in her kennel”. I brought her home and within the hr she began panting and gargling. I called back and they told me verbatim “we’re getting ready to close, maybe take her to hatillo or bring her in tomorrow”. They were still opened for another hr but had the absolutely disgusting nerve to say that. I knew we’d never make it to Hatillo because she needed oxygen and emergency care now. I took her to back to Ramey. She was taken into the back and no one told me anything that was going on. I was finally called into the room by the tech “Mama Flan” she called out, I rushed over and she said the dr would be right with me in a chipper voice. I was expecting a huge bill but good news. Time passed and a different c tech came in to take out the trash. Then the dr came out by herself and told me she died. They tried CPR but it didn’t work. I asked what happened and she said she didn’t know….Maybe an underlying issue, maybe a bad reaction to anesthesia. That’s when I asked why they didn’t keep her after the surgery to make sure she was ok because that is common practice after surgeries. And got the answer “she looked stressed so we sent her home”. That is what that DR said. No “I’m sorry for your loss”, nothing. She left and never came back in. Instead I had to open the back door and ask the nearest tech to give me my baby. They charged me $200 for a miserable death. They shouldn’t be allowed to continue operating as a business with such malpractice. I just can’t believe people here are ok with this treatment. I’m devastated right now but more so for the beautiful baby kittens she left behind waiting for her to come home. She was a sweet mama that I rescued from a horrible man in Isabela who was trying to kill her and her kittens. I took them in, moved to a new place with a big back yard and planned to get them all spayed /neutered and vaccinated. Then once healed they were going to run and play in the new yard. Safe and happy. I’m holding Mama Flan in my arms right now as I’m writing this, watching the sunset in the back yard. RIP Mama Flan- you brought joy, lots of purrs and laughter. You were such a good mama to your kittens. The best mama. You will be missed by everyone that knew you. I’m so sorry for taking you to this vet.
I accidentally posted a negative review meant for a different vet clinic on this page, and I truly regret that. This clinic did not deserve that, and I’m very sorry for any confusion or stress it may have caused. The truth is, this vet has been amazing to us and to our dog. From the first visit, the staff has treated him with real care, patience, and kindness especially when he was hurt and clearly in pain. They’ve always taken the time to explain things, answer our questions, and make sure he felt safe and comfortable. Everyone here is compassionate and professional, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the animals and the people who bring them in. We trust them completely with our dog, and we’re grateful for everything they’ve done for him. Again, I’m truly sorry for my mistake. This clinic deserves to be recognized for the great work they do. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog.
