Ironwood Animal Hospital, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner

It's clean and the staff are friendly enough. I like the vets. They have a good 'pay monthly and services are cheaper' program. But... they literally NEVER get us in on time. Ever. There is always a wait (15-30 minutes past appointment time) no matter how many people (if any) are in the lobby. This is before you get into an appointment room. Other than this, they give good service.

Amazing service and care for our babies. Our Dolly had a reaction to the lepto shot and the Dr and care team were amazing!! So happy we chose them! I cannot thank them enough

The staff was more than accomosating as I had originally called and canceled the appointment. They worked us back into the schedule and provided a thorough exam. the vet was very kind and treated my dogs like family. The pricing was much less than I anticipated. There is a new vet down the street which I considered before making this appt at Ironwood. But after going to Ironwood, and they were so accommodating, thorough, and cost effective, it would be foolish to choose another unlnown veterinarian when I am quite content at Ironwood. I definitely will continue go there.

Always a pleasant experience at Ironwood. The doctors also never claim to know everything. They are good at referring you if necessary. As long as your pet's best interest is at stake. Thank you.

Edited 8/13/2025. We have been bringing our mini zoo here for years. They continue to be amazing. Dr. Brophy is our go to and is fantastic. The girls up front continue to be the sweetest and are always welcoming. Everyone here has always put the care of my animals foremost. Thank you all! Edited 11/18/23. Two years since my initial review. They are still amazing! We have been coming here for years and years now. Dr. Brophy and Dr. Kolt Peightal are so knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. The techs, nurses, and front desk staff are equally as impressive. I can write a novel on all the times they have gone and continue to go above and beyond. I just want them to know that they are appreciated. My family is extremely grateful for everyone there. These guys are amazing and so kindhearted at what they do. They see our entire zoo! They did an emergency surgery on our cat who ate a foreign object. The dr texted me updates throughout the day and even after hours on his surgery and recovery. They have also been great in helping us navigate my Pittie’s kidney disease, often squeezing us in last minute for check ups/medications. They treated my Jack Russel who got into a scrap and needed drains/stitches. They rushed her back and had her cleaned up in no time. Time and time again, Ironwood has been there for my pet family for everything from Emergencies to their preventive care. The office staff is amazing and I trust ironwood completely on the care of all of my animals!
