(from Google)Couldn’t ask for a better vet team to care for our 3 doggies! Dr Farris saved my 16 yr old poodle’s life last year, and he is now thriving! We just added a new pup, and wouldn’t trust another team to take as great care of him as well. Highly recommend Canyon Vet Team!
I have been going to this vet for a few years, they have been a great place to take my dogs. I recently was having issues getting a health certificate for my Service Dog, Dr. Ferris and her staff have been awesome helping me resolve the issues. They have went out of their way to help me! They went so far as to come to my house and give my dog a vaccination because I did not have a working car. That’s dedication to the customer and the pets they treat. True professionals and I trust them with all my dogs needs. I am glad that I have them to take care of my veterinary needs!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary clinic! From the moment we walked through the door, the entire staff was welcoming, compassionate, and genuinely caring. The veterinarians took the time to answer all of my questions, explain everything thoroughly, and made sure my pets was comfortable throughout the visit. The level of kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail was truly exceptional. It’s clear that everyone here loves animals and is dedicated to providing the highest level of care.
My dog had a dental cleaning scheduled months in advance (a 7:30am drop-off with pickup expected between 3–5pm). Anyone who has a pet with anxiety knows how hard those drop-offs are. You hand over your dog, trust the team completely, and spend the day hoping everything goes smoothly. Since dogs have to undergo anesthesia for dental work, they are similar to surgical appointments.(Having to initial an OK to approve CPR if needed already has you on edge). At 1pm, I received a call asking me to come pick him up. Not because the procedure went smoothly and finished early. But because his cleaning never happened. The doctor simply LEFT… because she "ran out of time" after two other cleanings. My dog was placed on IV, sat in a kennel for 6 hours, and came home without receiving any of the care he was brought in for. I’m truly baffled by this. My dog still needs his teeth cleaned. I still need a vet I can trust. And I'm walking away from this practice with neither. The response from this office? A $100 discount if I choose to reschedule. (It’s $138 just to have the required bloodwork done for a dental appointment and quoted $1200-1800 for the procedure). I will never be returning here.
We are so happy and confident with the care our dogs receive at Canyon Vet New Braunfels. They caught a very serious medical condition early with one our dogs and due to their care and diligence, we're able to connect us with life saving measures that truly saved her life. We highly recommend!!
