My vet recommended Healing Hands for Pets to me when my pup injured her stifle. I was concerned she would need surgery and I wanted to do everything I could to avoid this. So off we went to meet Dr. Brauer and her team. My pup, Cuqui, got acupuncture and laser therapy and finally, the water treadmill. Sam treated Cuqui with gentle care and consideration while doing the laser therapy and the treadmill. I have to say, after a while, Cuqui is finally not limping anymore. I’m so pleased with Healing Hands for Pets and their staff. I will absolutely come back if either of my pups need holistic attention. Thank you, Dr. Brauer, Sam and Courtnee!

Just had our first visit for my dog. They were amazing. My dog was not stressed at all, which is a huge difference from the vet we used to go to. Dr Brauer was so gentle and good with her. I’m so glad I switched vets.

I brought in my 2 Year Old Standard Poodles today. I had a fantastic experience meeting Courtnee and Dr. Brauer. I have wanted to go the Holistic route, and I found the perfect place. Laid back type of atmosphere, but they are very good at what they do, and they clearly care for the animals under their care. I look forward to building a long-term relationship, and I hope NOT to see you too often! Thank You!!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible care my dog received at Healing Hands. I can honestly say that this veterinary office is unlike any other I’ve ever been to. The level of care and attention they provide is unparalleled. I genuinely believe that their compassionate approach extended my dog's life by at least six months. I have no doubt that if I had gone to any other vet, they would have suggested putting my dog down long before her time. My dog benefited immensely from weekly acupuncture and laser therapy. The difference in her activity level after each session was noticeable. These sessions were not only beneficial for her but also for me, because I was in front of a vet every week. For anyone with a senior dog, you know how many questions you have day to day. This kind of support is invaluable. I don’t mean to be blunt, but if you’re not taking your pet to Healing Hands, you’re not doing what’s truly in the best interest of your dog or cat. The level of comfort and care they provided to both my dog and me is something I can never fully repay. Thank you, Kristen and Courtney for being there everyday for Zara and I.

Moving over from South Tampa to Saint Pete 4 years ago I was concerned with finding a vet that aligns with my values and allowing me a more holistic approach. Healing Hands for Pets; Dr. Brauer, Dani and staff have been more than I could have asked for. Truly magical from the moment walking into the office with such a calmness and caring approach with a private office with a sofa, yoga mats and balls. We’ve had 5 in their care for the last 4 years ranging from our 15 year old brother’s Harry and Grayson who had skin, hip, eye and teeth issues eventually crossing the rainbow bridge last year with Dr. B coming to our home. We’ve had many pets pass but my hubby always took care of them. Experiencing my 2 little guys ( Shitzu mix) cross together in our home was very sad but peaceful. Kristen was so compassionate and answered all my questions as we sat together listening to the soft music and holding our little guys. We have an 8 year old lab/hound Reese who absolutely screams getting her nails done; Kristen my hubby and I take a team approach to get it done without lifting her feet which seems to be key; she was traumatized by a mobile groomer. Then there is Harper out 3 year golden that ate a corn on the cob! We went to ER care as it was after hours and vet was able to get it up and X-rays showed clear so we were all cheering. A gut feeling had me take Harper with me for a Friday afternoon appt with Reese. Dr. B asked if I wanted to do an X-ray to double check to see if all the corn was gone and I agreed. To our surprise there was still corn showing up so we decided I needed to do surgery the following day at the ER as well as spay given it was late Friday and I needed to regroup. And now we have Cooper, a male golden foster I’ve now had 4 months who started at 122lbs now down to 105! Cooper has an amazing story of rescue and the support I’ve received from HHFP has been incredible along with emotional support for me. Cooper had labs early on and determined thyroid meds would be beneficial. Cooper goes into the office for weekly weight checks and recently Dani did an amazing nail trim with no issues, she is such a calming force. Dr. B, Dani, Sarah and staff are outstanding! Personable, engaged, knowledgeable, passionate and extremely compassionate with every situation I have encountered with our 5. Each dog is unique in their needs and each one has been treated with love and individualized care. Visits usually start with Dr. B on the floor speaking to our fur babies engaging and earning their trust with lots of love. I can’t say enough about the amazing team Healing Hands for Pets is and our wonderful experiences over the last 4 years. The care, love and genuine approach Dr. B, Dani and Sarah provide is a gift and blessing each of our fur babies receives at our visits. Absolutely the best!
