St. Petersburg Animal Hospital and Urgent Care

Brought my cat in for a possible ring worm they took amazing care of her and made her feel comfortable. They didn’t make me spend unnecessary money and have been contacting me asking for updates on her health. She is okay now and didn’t have anything other than allergies. They helped her and made me feel better about the entire situation.

Dr. Waleski & the staff here are wonderful. From the front desk to the veterinarians, everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the well-being of your pet. They take the time to explain everything clearly and never make you feel rushed. I always leave feeling confident that my pet received the best possible care. They have always treated my dogs & myself with respect. I would highly recommend them!

I came in to get a second opinion on the removal of some teeth for my chiweenie and Dr. Waleski was amazing. She was so sweet and gentle with my baby and then she did an amazing job with the surgery itself! I got updates and great take home notes. I highly recommend coming in to see Dr. Waleski for amazing care for your pets!

My cat Mewtwo went into labor had one stillborn baby and then her labor just stopped. She could have lost her other babies and gotten really sick. So I brought her into St Pete animal hospital and they performed an emergency csection/spay. They were able to save her other 2 kittens! My Mewtwo and her 2 babies are home with me now. Mewtwo is healing from the surgery and her babies are still able to nurse and are doing great. The staff informed me that she might not be able to nurse due to the surgery and gave me full instructions on how to care for the kittens if she didn't produce milk. They gave me all of the info on how to take care of Mewtwo while she is healing and also how to take care of the kittens. I'm able to send pictures and any questions via text or I can call if there are any emergencies. I highly recommend this vet and will continue to bring my babies here if needed. Thank you for saving Mewtwo and her kittens. We are forever grateful.

After my cat Sadie had surgery for stitches at another hospital and within 3 hours her stitches opened up I took her to this vet and they are AMAZING. They cleaned her wound and put her on antibiotics and literally said she will heal better if they don’t have to repeat the surgery. The original hospital wanted to charge me another $1200 after the $1200 that I spent already. This vet was incredible and saved my cat. I now take all my animals to them including my dog Zoe who has allergies
