UWF Cross Country Trails

Great for forest bathing!!!

Absolutely beautiful trails. Wide walking paths. Many trees and few sounds from life outside the woods. You could still mildly hear traffic in some areas. I took my elderly dog on her last walk through there in her stroller. The sand was pretty surgery in multiple spots so I had to have my man help me in those spots but it was an absolute dream. If you like Arcadia Mills, this is going to be so much better than that.

I have the great opportunity to run on these trails all the time and I love the fact that there are not many roots you can trip on! Great hills for training. Be careful of yellow flies in the summer.

I brought my family here yesterday and we were very happy with the walk. It was just about 3 miles around the whole thing. Our kids had a lot of fun exploring and looking for bugs. Everything is marked really well so you know where you're going. It was clean and most of the trail is so quiet and set back in the woods that you don't even feel like you're on a college campus.
